"The book feels like the inside of someone’s brain at 2 AM after the show when the room smells like beer and everyone’s finally telling the truth. These poems aren’t polished and that’s the whole point. They’re blunt, uncomfortable, sometimes funny, sometimes a little wrecked.

Some poems read like journal entries someone wasn’t supposed to see..

Others land like a punch to the gut. Either way it feels real.
