Punknews Buyout

On the surface, Punknews is cloaked in the robe of a collaborative effort. Its editorial content is provided by “volunteers.” It “supports and endorses” charities. However, Punknews is a private enterprise harvesting the free labor of its workers, further enriching already-rich companies. Four Razorcake contributors look at both the granular detail and the wider concerns about punk integrity, using Punknews as an operational example.
